Mexica-Arts founder, Emily J. Guerrero, is a storyteller and folk artist of Mexica indigenous ancestry.
Emily embodies her ancestral traditions as she encourages and inspires audiences to expand their knowledge of diverse cultures in their midst. Her performances, installation arts and workshops for various age audiences to the diverse montage of Mexica folk arts.
Emily respectfully gives homage to the Miami, First Nation people, as she resides on Kekionga, their ancestral land, a.k.a. Fort Wayne, Indiana.
